Clearwater Air is a specialty air service dedicated to providing professional, collaborative and mission-oriented flights primarily in support of research, surveillance, data-acquisition and emergency response operations.

Clearwater Air’s team of pilots have logged tens of thousands of hours of data acquisition, emergency response and wildfire suppression missions in the US and Canada. Our captains have, on average, over 10,000 hours of flight time, and each has the highest FAA issued flight rating—Airline Transport Pilot.
Our maintenance and engineering staff is highly experienced and manufacturer trained. They understand that the nature of our operations frequently require that the airplanes be modified for the addition of new data collection equipment and are very skilled at engineering and fabricating purpose-designed modifications to the aircraft based on client need.
Certification
Clearwater Air, Inc. is an FAA certificated Part 135 Air-Carrier (#LAMA991F). We are approved for operations in the US, Canada, and Arctic Oceanic airspace. In addition to flying aerial surveys, our certification allows us to provide on-demand and scheduled passenger, mail and freight transportation services.
